The 1973 Lakers captured the Mann Cup in a one game sudden death game on National TV in Brantford vs the Vancouver Burrards 9-6. It was Peterborough’s first Mann Cup since 66. Pat Baker was the MVP.
It was the last victory for the Lakers prior to all the players going to the as the the inaugural 74-75 NLL. The Lakers folded for a five year span following that victory.
